Participation & Liability Waiver
Effective Date: June 2026
Please read this waiver carefully before participating in any virtual class, workshop, or program offered by The Soft Ritual Co. By purchasing or attending any class or program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in yoga, somatic movement, meditation, and related wellness practices involves inherent physical and emotional risks. I voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown, arising from participation in any class, workshop, or program offered by The Soft Ritual Co., whether delivered live or recorded.
2. Health & Medical Disclaimer
I confirm that I am in adequate physical and mental health to participate in these classes. I understand that The Soft Ritual Co. and its instructors do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. I agree to consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new movement or wellness practice, and to inform my instructor of any injuries, conditions, or limitations prior to class.
3. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge The Soft Ritual Co., its founder, instructors, employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, or liability arising out of or in connection with my participation in any class or program, including but not limited to claims arising from negligence.
4. Personal Responsibility
I agree to listen to my body throughout all practices and to modify or rest as needed. I understand that it is my responsibility to practice within my own physical and emotional limits. The Soft Ritual Co. is not responsible for any injury, discomfort, or adverse reaction arising from failure to do so.
5. Virtual Class Environment
I understand that virtual classes are delivered via Zoom or similar platforms and that The Soft Ritual Co. is not responsible for technical issues, connectivity problems, or disruptions beyond its control. I am responsible for ensuring a safe, adequate space in which to practice.
6. Intellectual Property
I agree not to record, reproduce, share, or distribute any portion of classes, programs, or content provided by The Soft Ritual Co. without prior written consent. All content is the intellectual property of The Soft Ritual Co.
7. Refund Policy

This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
